Dr. Olaby received both her Masters and Doctorate degrees from The American University in Cairo. She has been trained in several prestigious universities such as Caltech, Stanford, and UC Davis. Furthermore, she obtained her master’s in public health from George Washington University where she has expanded her knowledge on community advocacy, and public health marketing and promotion. She is also PMP® certified from the Project Management Institute. Before joining California Northstate University, Dr. Olaby joined Qatar Biomedical Research Institute (Doha/Qatar) where she led the outreach efforts by holding several public health campaigns, implementing science outreach programs at schools and being the project manager for QBRI's part of the Cancer Biology and Therapeutics Program which was a partnership between Harvard University School of Medicine and QBRI. She then joined UC Davis MIND Institute as an NIH-funded postdoctoral researcher where she was awarded several fellowships and grants.
